Alan Renga

Alan Renga is a Digital Archivist at the San Diego Air & Space Museum since March 2002, where responsibilities include the preservation of historical documents and the creation of electronic finding guides for the Museum's Special Collections. Concurrently, Alan serves as a Support and Implementation Wiz at Piction since May 2016, focusing on Digital Asset Management System support. As a History Professor at Grossmont College since January 2004, Alan teaches Early and Modern American History, while previously holding an Adjunct Faculty position at DeVry University from July 2011 to January 2015. Alan began the career as a Curator for the Santa Barbara Trust for Historic Preservation and has experience as a Rowing Coach at UC Santa Barbara. Education includes a Master's degree in History from San Diego State University and a Bachelor's degree in History from UC Santa Barbara.
