Alyssa Martinez

Alyssa Martinez is a seasoned clinical manager with extensive experience in mental health services and youth programming. Since October 2016, Alyssa has been overseeing the partial hospitalization program at the San Diego Center for Children, focusing on intensive treatment for adolescents with acute mental health needs through evidence-based practices like DBT and CBT. Previously, as a regional manager, Alyssa led collaborative efforts to support youth and families, emphasizing strengths-based approaches and community integration. Past roles include outpatient therapist, head swim coach, and mental health worker, showcasing a commitment to both clinical support and youth development. Alyssa holds a Master of Science in Education with a focus on School and Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of San Diego.
