Barbara Medina

Barbara Medina is a seasoned media specialist with extensive experience in journalism and communications. Since November 2014, Barbara has served as a Media Specialist at the San Diego County District Attorney's Office, managing media inquiries and developing content for various digital platforms. Prior to this role, Barbara worked as a Digital Producer for The E.W. Scripps Company, where responsibilities included managing content for multiple news websites. Barbara's career also includes significant achievements at Entravision Communications as a presenter/producer for technology-focused TV segments and as an interactive web producer. Notably, Barbara received an Emmy Award for investigative reporting during tenure as a news reporter. Barbara holds a Master of Arts degree in Strategic Communications from National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and French from San Diego State University.
