Katherine Wallace

Katherine Wallace is an experienced librarian currently serving at the San Diego County Library since June 2023. Previously, Katherine held the roles of Education Specialist and Induction Coach at High Tech High from August 2021 to June 2023, and Resource Specialist at the San Francisco Unified School District from July 2018 to August 2021. Additional experience includes managing visitor experiences at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art from 2016 to July 2018, and serving as Digital Library Administrator at the Internet Archive in 2015-2016. Katherine progressed through various roles in the Member and Visitor Services Department at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco from 2011 to 2015, beginning as a Membership Associate. Earlier work experience includes serving as a Museum Assistant at the Randall Museum from 2011 to 2013. Katherine holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University, a Human Resources Graduate Certificate from Cornell University, a Cleared Education Specialist Credential from the California Teaching Commission, and a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from San Francisco State University.
