H. Puentes

H. Puentes serves as the Co-Founder, President, and CEO of San Diego Squared since October 2020, focusing on closing the diversity gap in STEM careers through programming, mentorship, and scholarships. Prior experience includes a candidacy for City Council in District 1 of San Diego, advocating for a data-driven approach to governance, and serving as Director of External Affairs at Connect - San Diego, where H. Puentes led diversity initiatives, including founding CONNECT ALL, the first diversity-focused startup accelerator in San Diego. Additional roles include Regional Director at Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and Director of Marketing and Community at Fuel Powered. H. Puentes holds a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from George Mason University.
