Kristen Diggs

Kristen Diggs, SHRM-SCP has over 23 years of work experience in various human resources roles. Kristen began their career as an HR Generalist at SafeNet, Inc in 1998, where they worked until 2006. Kristen then joined the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, initially serving as the Associate Director of Human Resources before being promoted to Director of Human Resources and later to Vice President of Human Resources and Chief Diversity Officer. During their tenure, they led a team of 3 HR professionals and supported 220 staff members across 3 states and Washington DC. In 2021, Kristen became a Founding Member of Chief, a private network for women leaders. Kristen played a crucial role in driving the organization's mission to empower women and effect change in leadership positions. In 2022, Kristen joined San Diego Youth Services as the Chief Human Resources Officer, overseeing HR operations and providing support to the organization's efforts in serving over 13,000 youth in San Diego annually. Additionally, they hold a leadership role as the VP of Communications at San Diego SHRM.

Kristen Diggs, SHRM-SCP, completed their Bachelor of Science degree in General Psychology from Towson University. Kristen attended Towson University from 1993 to 1996. In July 2020, they obtained the certification of SHRM - Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM.
