Gideon Yu

Gideon Yu's work experience includes serving as a Board of Directors member for the PGA of America since 2022. Gideon is also a co-owner and former president of the San Francisco 49ers, becoming the first person of color to hold the position in the NFL's history. Gideon led the initial funding round and served as the first external board member for Square. Gideon was also on the Board of Directors for Razer Inc., the world's leading brand for gamers and e-sports. Gideon served as Chief Financial Officer for both Facebook and YouTube, leading significant investments and acquisitions. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Vice President & Treasurer at Yahoo, overseeing various financial activities and making notable hires within the company.

Gideon Yu completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Harvard Business School from 1998 to 1999. Gideon also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management from Stanford University, which they attained from 1989 to 1993.
