Herb Canada has a strong background in investments and asset management. Herb started their career at Fannie Mae, where they managed investment and portfolio activities for the west coast region. Herb underwrote a significant amount of loans during their time in the Large Loans division. Afterward, they joined ADANAC Properties as a Principal before moving on to JB Matteson, Inc., where they held the position of Vice President. In this role, they were responsible for acquisition, disposition, and asset management of various investments in Southern California. Herb also completed multiple 1031 exchanges during their tenure. Herb then transitioned to PNC Realty Investors, Inc., initially working as a Client Portfolio Manager and later taking on the role of Vice President. In this capacity, they oversaw comprehensive asset management for the AFL-CIO's Building Investment Trust on the west coast. Herb handled various responsibilities such as performance evaluation, strategy implementation, operations, budgeting, reporting, and value creation. Most recently, Herb obtained the position of Senior Director of Investments at the San Francisco Giants.
Herb Canada completed an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from The Wharton School between 2000 and 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and History from the University of California at Los Angeles between 1989 and 1994.
