Karla Santamaria

Karla Santamaria has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Karla started their career at El Concilio of San Mateo County in 2001, where they served as a Chronic Disease Manager. In this role, they designed health education tools and supervised a multidisciplinary team. Karla then joined Blue Shield of California in 2005 as a Product Manager, responsible for developing strategies and managing the overall impacts of products. In 2013, they joined San Francisco Health Plan, initially as a Senior Project Manager and later as the Lead Project Manager. Their responsibilities included overseeing project implementation and collaborating with internal stakeholders.
