John Sieve

John Sieve is an Air Quality Specialist focused on air quality modeling at the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District since March 2024. Prior to this role, John served as the Fitwell Lead Supervisor at UCLA Recreation, overseeing a large team and managing the maintenance of the John Wooden Recreational Center. John has experience as a Research Assistant at DataRes at UCLA, where a graph neural network was developed, and as a Data Science Intern at winosaurus, where a framework for OCR image recognition was created for a wine recommendation app. A brief tenure as a Quality Control Specialist at True Organic involved ensuring compliance with federal standards in product testing. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from UCLA, earned between 2019 and 2023, and a high school diploma from Clovis North High School.
