Jamal Fountaine

Jamal Fountaine, MA, is the owner of Fountaine Inc. and has extensive experience with the San José Fire Department, serving as Fire Captain since July 2023, after promotions from Fire Engineer/Paramedic (2012-2023) and Fire Inspector (2017-2023). Jamal also has a background in professional sports, having played as a Defensive Line Coach in the NFL from May 1994 to January 1999. Educational qualifications include a degree in Construction Management from the University of Washington and a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Saint Mary's College of California.
