Haley Gillette

Haley Gillette is an experienced educator with a comprehensive background in teaching and academic advising. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher for San Luis Coastal Unified School District since March 2019, Haley has also worked as an Academic Writing Advisor at Shemmassian Academic Consulting from April 2022 to January 2024, and previously in similar roles at San Luis Obispo County Office of Education and Almond Acres Charter Academy. In addition to educational roles, Haley has experience in the hospitality industry, having held positions as a Tasting Room Associate at Tolosa Winery and a Wine Attendant at Hearst Ranch Winery. Haley holds a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and possesses a Single Subject Credential in English/Language Arts from Cal Poly College of Education, along with a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from San Diego State University.
