Marchelle Moten

Marchelle Moten currently serves as the Executive Director of P-3 and Early Education at the San Mateo County Office of Education since September 2022. Previously, Marchelle held the position of Regional Vice President at Innovate Public Schools from 2020 to 2022 and was the Founding Director at First Five Fox Valley from 2017 to 2020. Marchelle's experience in educational leadership includes roles as Elementary Principal and District Equity Officer at Green Bay Area Public School District (2011-2017), Teacher Leader and Peer Coach at Lammersville Unified School District (2007-2011), and Teacher Leader and Intervention Specialist at Deer Valley Unified School District (2006-2007). Early career included a tenure as a Teacher Leader and Peer Coach at Dolton School District 148 (2003-2006) and a teaching role at Chicago Public Schools (1993-2003). Marchelle holds a BS in Early Childhood Education from DePaul University and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from National Louis University.
