Javad K. Mehr

Javad K. Mehr has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Javad is currently working as a Control Engineer at Sanctuary AI, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Alberta as a Research Assistant from August 2019, and later took on the role of Teacher Assistant from January 2020. Before joining the University of Alberta, Javad worked at Shiraz University as a Research Assistant from October 2016 to May 2019. Javad also served as a Project Engineer at Tose'ye Sakhtoman Company (TSCO) from July 2016 to September 2016. In addition, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Tabriz from 2013 to 2015, and also had an internship at Sepanta Marand from August 2014 to October 2014. Javad's work experience also includes a previous teaching assistant position at the University of Tabriz in 2012.

Javad K. Mehr began their education in 2007 at the Allameh Jafari Educational Center for Gifted Students. It is unknown whether they obtained a degree or pursued a specific field of study during that time. In 2011, they enrolled in the University of Tabriz and completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering in 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Dynamics and Control at Shiraz University from 2016 to 2019. Currently, Javad K. Mehr is working towards their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta, a program they are expected to complete in 2023.
