Olivia Norton has a long history of work experience in various fields. Olivia began their career in 2008 as a Research Student at the University of Calgary's Bone Imaging Lab and Human Performance Lab. In 2009, they took on the role of Research Assistant at ETH Zürich. From 2011 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at Quorum Business Solutions. During this time, they also worked as an AI Developer and Technical Patent Writer at Kindred.ai. In 2018, they became Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Sanctuary AI. In 2021, they took on roles as Co-Founder of Frontier Collective and Advisory Board Member at the Vancouver Economic Commission.
Olivia Norton has an educational background in engineering, having obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) from The University of British Columbia in Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from the University of Calgary in Computer Engineering. In addition to their engineering background, Norton has also obtained certifications in Wine Fundamentals I and II from the International Sommelier Guild in 2011 and 2012, respectively, as well as a 200H Yoga Teacher Training certification from Yoga Passage in 2013.
