Luca Ferrara

Luca Ferrara has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Luca is currently working as a Senior AQ Product Manager at SandboxAQ starting from December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at X, the moonshot factory as a Product Manager from May 2021 to December 2021, and as a Product Manager from May 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining X, the moonshot factory, Luca worked at Google as an Associate Lead in Cloud Sales Strategy and Planning from August 2019 to May 2021. Luca also completed a Summer MBA Internship at Google in Cloud Strategy & Analytics from June 2018 to September 2018.

Earlier in their career, Luca served at Goldman Sachs, first as an Analyst in Equity Derivatives Trading Services from July 2014 to December 2015, and then as an Associate in the same department from December 2015 to July 2017. Luca began their professional journey with UBS, where they underwent the Graduate Training Program in Equity Derivatives from August 2012 to August 2014.

Additionally, Luca gained experience as a Fixed Income Summer Intern at UBS for the duration of June 2011 to August 2011.

Luca Ferrara completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies, Econometrics, and Statistics at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they attended Boston College from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a B.A. degree. Their major areas of study were the International Studies Program and Political Science and Economics. In 2011, Luca also briefly attended Università Bocconi, although no degree or field of study information was provided.

In addition to their formal education, Luca has obtained several certifications. Luca completed the "Quantum Computing Fundamentals" certification from MIT xPRO in March 2022. In May 2021, they obtained the "Machine Learning with TensorFlow on Google Cloud Platform" certification from Coursera | Google. Luca also acquired the "Data Scientist with Python" certification from DataCamp in May 2018.
