Steven (Dongze) Yue has extensive work experience in software engineering and firmware development. Steven (Dongze) most recently worked at SandboxAQ as a Staff Software Engineer and previously held the role of Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at X, the moonshot factory, in a cryptography role. Steven (Dongze) also worked at Google as a Software Engineer, specializing in embedded software, and at Samsara, Inc as a Firmware Engineer. Additionally, they served as the VP of Engineering at Jiangsu Sanleng Smart City & IoT Systems Co., Ltd. Steven's earlier experience includes working as a Teaching Assistant at Cornell University and as an Embedded Systems engineer at Cornell University Unmanned Air Systems. Steven (Dongze) has also worked at Apple, Citrix, and Sony, gaining experience in instrumentation and metrology, fullstack development, and technical marketing, and rapid prototyping, respectively.

Steven (Dongze) Yue began their education by obtaining a High School Diploma from St. Anne's-Belfield School in 2014. Steven (Dongze) then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University, where they studied from 2014 to 2017. After completing their undergraduate studies, they attended Stanford University to pursue a non-degree option (NDO) in Computer Science starting in 2019. Currently, Steven is enrolled in the UC Berkeley School of Information, where they are expected to complete a Master's degree in Cryptography by 2022.

In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. In December 2020, they earned a Graduate Certificate in Cyber Security from Stanford University. In May 2021, they completed the certifications "Introduction to Quantum Computing" from IBM and "Practical Realities of Quantum Computation and Quantum Communication" from MIT xPRO. Steven (Dongze) further expanded their knowledge in quantum computation by obtaining the certification "Requirements for Large-Scale Universal Quantum Computation" from MIT xPRO in June 2022.
