Yossi Matias

Yossi Matias is a distinguished professional in the field of computer science, currently serving as the Head of Google Research and Vice President of Engineering & Research at Google. Matias has played a pivotal role as the Founding Executive Lead for Campus TLV and the Google for Startup Accelerator. In addition to a prominent role at Google, Matias is also a Computer Science faculty member at Tel Aviv University and holds advisory positions on the boards of Verily Life Sciences and SandboxAQ. Furthermore, Matias serves as a board member for the Israeli Advanced Technology Industries (IATI). Educationally, Matias earned a PhD with distinction in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and an MSc with excellence in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
