Matteo Rinaldi

Matteo Rinaldi, EMBA, currently serves as the Coordinator of the Executive Council at IBG - Italian Biosimilars Group and as the Head of the Business Unit Biopharmaceuticals & Hospital at Sandoz, specializing in various therapeutic areas including neuroscience, immunology, oncology, hematology, and endocrinology. Previously, Matteo held the position of Country Head Italy and CFO at Novartis/Sandoz, managing a team of 330 and overseeing a turnover of $450 million, while also driving commercial strategy and innovation. Matteo's extensive experience also includes significant roles at Microsoft, where responsibilities ranged from CFO of the Finnish Affiliate to managing financial planning and analysis for the Italian Affiliate. Matteo began their career as a Financial Analyst at Lehman Brothers. Educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from MIP Politecnico di Milano and a degree in Institution and Financial Markets Management from Università Bocconi, both with honors.
