Paul Wiegel

Paul Wiegel serves as Senior Patent Counsel at Sandoz since December 2016, focusing on global litigation and launch strategies outside North America, particularly in Europe. Prior to this role, Paul held various positions at MorphoSys AG from August 2008 to November 2016, including Director of Intellectual Property, where responsibilities encompassed worldwide prosecution of Monjuvi® (tafasitamab) and US litigation involvement. Paul's experience also includes a background in patent prosecution and commercial legal matters at Wharton, Aldhizer & Weaver, PLC, and roles in sales and management at Wyeth. Academically, Paul earned an LL.M. in Intellectual Property from the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center, a JD from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and a B.S. in Biology from Penn State University.
