Stephen Zachary

Stephen joined Sands Capital in 2016 and is a Kauffman Fellow (Class of '23). Stephen identifies, assesses, and monitors investments, focusing primarily on the Life Sciences sector. Prior to joining Sands Capital, Stephen received his PhD in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. During graduate school, Stephen was awarded a NIH Fellowship and completed an externship in biotech equity research with T. Rowe Price. Stephen attended Columbia University for his postbaccalaureate studies and received a BA in Philosophy from Washington & Lee University.
