Timothy Richter

Timothy Richter, CFA, currently serves as Senior Manager of Fund and Investment Operations at Sands Capital, having joined the firm in December 2022. Prior to this role, Richter held several key positions at Barings from September 2016 to December 2022, including Director of Global Client Operations for Public Investments - High Yield, where management of a team overseeing 25 high yield and multi-strategy funds was a focus. Additional responsibilities included collaborating on IMA negotiations and partnering with portfolio managers. Richter began career roles at Babson Capital Management as Associate Director, overseeing multiple portfolio types, and gained experience at BMO Financial Group managing retirement plan processes. Richter's career commenced as Lead Tax Intern at Menasha Corporation. Richter holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
