Tim Carpenter

Tim Carpenter has extensive experience in various IT leadership roles. Tim is currently the Director of IT & Security Officer at Taylor Regional Hospital. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Software Development at SandStorm IT and the Director of IT at Springfield Clinic. Tim also worked as an Information Technology Management professional at Santa Rosa Consulting, Inc. Tim has a background in healthcare, having held positions such as the Director of Enterprise Infrastructure at Health First and the Director of Technology at Athens Regional Health System. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of IT at Baylor Scott & White Healthcare and the Director of Enterprise Architecture at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Tim Carpenter obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance from Christian Brothers University from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Economics & Finance from The University of Memphis from 1981 to 1988. In addition to their academic degrees, Tim obtained several certifications, including Certified Identity and Access Manager from the Identity Management Institute in March 2017, CMMI-A from the CMMI Institute in September 2016, Certified Help Desk Director from STI in July 2004, and Certified Profession in Health Information Management Systems - CPHIMS from HIMSS in December 2017.
