Mehmet Karalar

Mehmet Karalar, currently serving as the Area Vice President of Sales at Sandvine since January 2017, leads a team focused on software sales and business development across the Nordics, CEE, Turkey, and CIS, emphasizing innovative machine learning solutions for Telcos and ISPs. With over 20 years of expertise in the telecommunications industry, Mehmet previously held significant roles at Sandvine, including Regional Sales Director for Turkey & CIS and Country Manager for Turkey, contributing to consistent revenue growth and strategic product transitions. Prior to Sandvine, positions at Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent equipped Mehmet with extensive experience in account management, sales strategy, and complex project execution. Mehmet holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Istanbul Technical University and a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from Gebze Technical University.
