Aaron Havas is a Ph.D. Candidate with extensive experience in research related to the mechanisms of aging that promote liver dysfunction and development of age-related diseases. Aaron has worked as a Staff Scientist at Sanford Burnham Prebys and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, focusing on studying NAFLD, NASH, and liver cancer. Prior to this, Aaron was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Arizona Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, where Aaron studied the prevalence of Giardia lamblia in the canine population of Tucson and harvested Cryptosporidium parvum from cattle.
