Christine S. Liu

Christine S. Liu is a Postdoctoral Scientist at Sanford Burnham Prebys, having transitioned from a PhD program in Biomedical Sciences at UC San Diego from 2016 to 2022. Prior to this, Christine served as a Chemistry 3A/3AL Student Instructor at UC Berkeley, where responsibilities included teaching lab sessions, delivering mini-lectures, and grading. Additional experience includes work as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Chang Group at UC Berkeley, focusing on neuronal copper utilization during stress response using zebrafish models, and as a CS10 Lab Assistant, providing support in computer science labs. Christine also provided one-on-one chemistry tutoring in a private setting before beginning formal education at UC Berkeley, where a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology was earned alongside a minor in Computer Science.
