Neha Balaji is currently a Research Technician II at Sanford Laboratories for Innovative Medicines, having commenced this position in July 2023. Prior to this role, Neha served as a Masters Student Researcher at UC San Diego from September 2021 to July 2023. Earlier experience includes an internship as a Research Intern at the Biomimicry Innovation Lab in August 2020, where Neha conducted literature searches to analyze ecosystem services, case studies, and developed ontologies and knowledge graphs aimed at predicting ecosystem patterns and designing resilient urban settlements. Neha holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology from B. M. S. College of Engineering, completed in 2021.
