Wenhao Jin

Wenhao Jin currently serves as Platform Leader for Machine Learning and Computational Biology at Sanford Laboratories for Innovative Medicines since November 2023. Prior to this role, Wenhao was a Senior Scientist for AI-powered drug discovery at Trotana Therapeutics from October 2022 to October 2023. Wenhao's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning from the National University of Singapore, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Biomathematics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Zhejiang University. Wenhao has extensive research experience, having worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of California San Diego, where the focus was on applying machine learning and statistical techniques to large biomedical datasets. Additionally, Wenhao was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National University of Singapore, concentrating on the development of predictive algorithms for RNA-protein interactions using machine learning and deep learning methodologies.
