Adrian Dongus is an experienced professional in market-based approaches to sanitation and hygiene, currently serving as a MH Market Specialist at The Sanitation and Hygiene Fund since June 2023. Previously, Adrian has held roles such as Senior Advisor for Google's Startups for Sustainable Development Program at Mindset-PCS, where responsibilities included building a pool of global experts for supporting startups. As the Interagency Working Group Coordinator for the United Nations Population Fund from January 2021 to December 2022, Adrian coordinated global working groups on humanitarian health supplies and menstrual health management. Adrian co-founded SymptoTrack, an open-source platform for tracking COVID-19 symptoms, and served as Managing Director at AFRIpads, contributing to the expansion of operations in East Africa and advocating for menstrual hygiene management standards. Adrian's diverse experience also includes entrepreneurial ventures in the food sector, and a background in finance and education, with an MBA and Bachelor's degree from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
