Obakeng Maoka

Obakeng Maoka is a Financial Planner at Sanlam since September 2020, specializing in holistic financial planning for clients, encompassing tax, risk, investment, retirement, and estate planning. Prior to this role, Obakeng served as a Paraplanner at Blignaut BlueStar in August 2020, where responsibilities included developing and reviewing financial plans, client administration, servicing, and compiling reports. Obakeng holds a Certificate in Artificial Intelligence in the 4IR and a Postgraduate Degree in Financial Planning from the University of Johannesburg, along with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance. Obakeng is currently pursuing the Regulatory Examination Certificate (RE5) at the Moonstone Business School of Excellence.
