Christopher H Chung

Christopher H Chung is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Vice President and Global Legal Head of Research and Development at Sanofi since May 2012. Chung has held several key roles at Sanofi, including VP of Global Head of Patent Litigation, where management of patent disputes and enforcement of intellectual property was a primary focus, and VP of Global IP Head for Strategy, Business Development, and M&A, overseeing IP support in merger and acquisition initiatives. During earlier career stages, Chung was the Chief Intellectual Property Counsel for Sanofi Pasteur, managing all global IP issues. Prior to joining Sanofi, Chung was a Senior Corporate Counsel at Pfizer, leading patent strategies in various research domains, and practiced as an associate at Proskauer Rose LLP and Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault. Chung holds a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law and has a background from Tufts University and Fairfield College Preparatory School.
