Marika Taponen

Marika Taponen has extensive work experience in tax management and consulting roles. Marika is currently the Head of Tax at Sanoma, a position they have held since May 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Tax Director for Europe, EMEA, and the Nordics at Amer Sports Corporation from 2013 to 2020. Marika also worked as a Tax Manager at Outokumpu and held various tax roles at PwC, Veropaja Oy, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Deloitte & Touche. Marika'sroles at these companies ranged from Senior Tax Manager to Tax Assistant.

Marika Taponen obtained a Master's degree in Tax Law/Taxation from the University of Turku from 1998 to 2003. Later, they attended the Turku School of Economics at the same university from 2002 to 2015, but their degree name and field of study during this period are unspecified.
