Amanda Boshard has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Amanda currently works as the Creative Director at Sans Serif since 2022. Previously, Amanda held the same role at Merkle from 2021 to 2022, where they also served as an Associate Creative Director from 2021 to 2021. At Merkle, they led digital projects for clients such as Canon USA, Nagase, Leesa Mattress, and Costco, among others. Amanda also managed a team of designers, oversaw client relationships, and implemented new workflows and processes for digital projects.
Prior to Merkle, Amanda worked as a Design Manager, UI, from 2019 to 2021, and as a UI Art Director from 2018 to 2019, both roles at Merkle as well. Amanda also gained experience as a Lead Graphic/Web designer at Workfront from 2015 to 2018, where they developed and maintained websites, planned site design, and coordinated with copywriters and graphic artists.
Amanda has also pursued freelance work as a Designer since 2010, operating their own freelance business and managing clients such as Mobile Coach, Health Insurance Innovations, and CreditcardDebt.com, among others. Additionally, they have taught as an Adjunct Instructor at Utah Valley University, focusing on design principles and elements, typography, and layout.
Throughout their career, Amanda has consistently showcased their design expertise, creative leadership, and ability to deliver successful projects for various companies and clients.
Amanda Boshard earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design from Utah Valley University, completing their studies between 2005 and 2011. Amanda also holds several certifications in various AI-related fields, including Introduction to Generative AI, Introduction to Large Language Models, and Introduction to Responsible AI, all obtained in 2024 from Google Cloud.
