Chance Richie

Chance Richie has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Chance is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Sansar, Inc., a company that owns the Sansar social VR platform. Prior to this, they were a Founding Partner at Poppleton Partners from February 2021 to June 2022. Chance also served as the Co-Owner of Plymouth Technology from October 2014 to June 2022.

In the past, Chance Richie was the Chief Technology Officer at Hillstone Environmental Partners from January 2016 to December 2016. Chance was the Owner and CEO of ShaleApps, a logistics and asset management software suite, from January 2013 to January 2016. Chance also served as the Owner of Shalewater Solutions, LLC from September 2011 to January 2016.

Additionally, Chance Richie has held positions at Waste Management as the Director of Water Services from February 2011 to October 2011, and at Bosque Systems as the General Manager of Bosque Water Management from January 2010 to February 2011. Chance previously worked as the Vice President of Investment Banking at Mastodon Ventures, Inc. from March 2007 to October 2009.

Chance Richie's education history begins with earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin in the years 1996 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Texas McCombs School of Business from 2005 to 2007. Afterward, Chance Richie enrolled in Columbia Engineering, where they attained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Earth and Environmental Engineering from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Chance Richie has obtained several certifications. Chance acquired the General Securities Representative - Series 7 certification from FINRA in August 2006. Furthermore, they accomplished the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1 certification from the CFA Institute in June 2005. Most recently, Chance Richie gained two certifications from FINRA: the General Securities Principal - Series 24 in October 2021 and the Investment Banking Representative - Series 79 in August 2021.
