Gertjan Verachtert

Gertjan Verachtert is a seasoned lawyer and partner at Sansen International Tax Lawyers, specializing in Belgian and international taxation as well as the tax aspects of private estate planning since November 2015. Verachtert also serves as the President of the Tax Law Commission at AIJA - International Association of Young Lawyers, guiding discussions on key topics including Wealth & Estate Planning, Private Equity, and Tax residency planning. Prior to this role, Verachtert practiced at Tiberghien Lawyers from September 2011 to November 2015. Educational qualifications include a Master in Taxation from KU Leuven, earned Cum Laude in 2011, and a Master of Laws from KU Leuven, also obtained Cum Laude in 2010. Additionally, Verachtert completed studies at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 2016.
