Al Soenke has extensive experience in education, engineering, and agriculture. Currently serving as the Vice President of Education and Training for the Santa Barbara Amateur Radio Club since January 2014, Soenke previously held multiple roles, including President and Vice President, from 1977 to 2009. Simultaneously, Soenke has been a teacher at the Santa Barbara County Education Office since August 1985, specializing in computer technology, network engineering, and electronics technology and engineering. Additionally, Soenke operates as the owner and ranch manager of Rancho Vientos, focusing on avocado production. Prior professional experience includes roles as a project engineer and program manager at Raytheon Vision Systems Company until retirement in 2006, and an engineering position at Bell & Howell from 1970 to 1973. Soenke's educational credentials include a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Studies and Electronics from Northrop University.
