Mike Klusyk

Mike Klusyk has been serving in the Santa Barbara County Fire Department since January 2000, currently holding the position of Battalion Chief. Throughout the tenure, Mike has held various roles including Captain of Support Services, where responsibilities included fleet replacement specifications, equipment purchasing and maintenance, and logistical support for 16 fire stations. As Captain of the Training Section, Mike coordinated recruit academies and managed in-service training and DMV firefighter licensing requirements. Previous experience includes roles as Captain/Paramedic and Engineer/Paramedic, with initial employment at American Medical Response as a Paramedic from May 1996 to January 2000.
