Craig Morris has over 20 years of work experience in the surveying field. Craig began their career at ENGEO in 1999, where they served as a GPS Specialist, responsible for GPS topo and as-built mapping on various large projects in the Bay Area. Craig also performed volume calculations, created "lowest surface," and compiled as-builts using Terramodel software and Real Works software. In 2008, Craig started their own consulting firm, Craig Morris Consulting, where they specialized in GPS and laser scanning. As the Lead Surveyor, they conducted control surveys, stakeout, as-built mapping, GPS topo, laser scanning, and digital terrain modeling for final terrain surfaces. Some of their primary clients included World Golf Tour. Craig then joined F3 & Associates as a Chainman/Party Chief for a brief period in 2015. Finally, they worked at Santa Clara Valley Water District, taking on the roles of Assistant Surveyor III and Survey Party Chief. Their responsibilities in these positions included surveying and overseeing field operations.
Craig Morris attended Evergreen Valley College from 2012 to 2013, where they studied Surveying and Geomatics. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Natural Resource Planning from Humboldt State University from 1994 to 1998. In August 2016, they obtained the LSIT certification from the Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists.
