Elizabeth Cabell

Elizabeth Cabell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Elizabeth started their career as a Controller at New Horizons Computer Learning Center in 1999 and later became the Owner of Rosso Financial Group in 2004. From 2007 to 2011, they worked as an Instructor at OfficeStar Computer Training. In 2009, they served as an Asset Manager at Monterey Bay Resources. In 2011, they joined CSU Monterey Bay as a University Corporation Accountant and remained in that position until 2013. Elizabeth then moved to the City of Santa Cruz, where they worked as a Senior Accountant from 2013 to 2016. Elizabeth then transitioned to the City of Napa, where they held the roles of Finance Manager from 2016 to 2021 and Deputy Finance Director from 2021 to 2022. Currently, they are the Finance Director at the City of Santa Cruz, starting in 2022. In addition to their municipal work, they have also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Cabrillo College from 2014 to 2017 and Heald College from 2003 to 2014. Elizabeth Cabell has a strong background in finance and has held various leadership roles in public and private organizations.

Elizabeth Cabell earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Math from the University of Virginia, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Elizabeth later pursued a Masters of Science degree in Accounting from Kaplan University from 2010 to 2012.
