Alex York has extensive experience in coaching volleyball at various levels, currently serving as the Main Beach 14 Gold Coach at Main Beach Volleyball Club since January 2024 and as a Substitute Teacher with the Santa Cruz County Office of Education since November 2022. Prior to these roles, Alex held multiple coaching positions at Harbor High School, including JV Girls Volleyball Head Coach and Head Coach of the Girls Freshman Cohort. Additional coaching experience includes work with Kinnect Volleyball Club and Branciforte Middle School, where Alex coached various grades and genders. Alex also has experience in material handling and painting, demonstrating a diverse professional background. Alex holds a Bachelor's degree in History from Sonoma State University, earned from 2013 to 2018.
