Jessica Johnson

Jessica Johnson is an experienced educator and freelance writer with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as an Alternative Education Instructor at the Santa Cruz County Office of Education since November 2021, Jessica focuses on guiding students through credit recovery and post-high school planning while fostering a collaborative learning environment. From March 2003, Jessica has operated as a freelance writer, producing content in journalism and marketing, showcasing strong organizational skills and a passion for research. Previous teaching roles include positions at the Pajaro Valley Unified School District, Santa Cruz City Schools, and Holyoke Community College, where Jessica taught subjects ranging from English to Physical Education, and developed innovative curricula. Jessica holds a credential in education from National University, a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Springfield College, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Movement from San Francisco State University.
