Pete Schierling

Pete Schierling has extensive experience in emergency medical services and fitness training. Currently serving as a Volunteer Firefighter with the Zayante Fire Protection District since January 2017, Pete responds to various emergencies and was recognized as the 2017 Firefighter of the Year. In addition, Pete has been an EMT at Santa Cruz Seaside Company and Med-Tech Services, providing first aid and basic life support at events and for guests and employees. Previous roles include a Paramedic Intern with American Ambulance and multiple positions as an EMT with Falck and Med-Tech Services. Additionally, Pete has a robust background in personal training, having served as CEO of Schierling Fitness and worked in various fitness roles at BaySport, Inc., Active Wellness LLC, and Club One. Educationally, Pete holds degrees in Paramedicine and Kinesiology from Foothill College and San Jose State University, respectively.
