Elias Bernardino

Elias Bernardino currently serves as the Deputy County Manager for Santa Fe County, a position held since January 2021. Prior to this, Elias held multiple leadership roles within Santa Fe Public Schools from May 2011 to January 2021, including Chief Data & Analytics Officer, Executive Director of Human Resources, Executive Director of Technology, and Director of Budget & Finance. Key achievements include directing analytics efforts for multiple departments impacting significant student and employee populations, leading a large HR team to reduce employee turnover and vacancy rates, implementing a high-performance technology infrastructure that dramatically improved customer service metrics, and streamlining budget operations for increased productivity.
