Geoffrey Moon

Gifted Education Program Support Specialist at Santa Fe Public Schools

Geoffrey Moon currently serves as the Gifted Education Program Support Specialist at Santa Fe Public Schools, where responsibilities include identifying gifted students with a focus on equity and supporting the SAGE program. As President of the New Mexico Association for the Gifted, Geoffrey leads conference organization and Gifted Education Day at the NM Legislature. Previous experience includes teaching gifted students K-12 at Gallup McKinley County Schools and serving as Gifted Education Coordinator, where efforts focused on a district-wide identification program for gifted students and enhancing educational practices for diverse populations. Geoffrey holds a Master of Arts in Teaching with an emphasis in Special Education from Western New Mexico University and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Southwestern College.
