Angela Bautista

Angela Bautista, M.A., is an experienced high school counselor currently working at Santa Paula Unified School District since August 2022. Previously, Angela served as a 9th Grade Transition Counselor at Denver Public Schools from July 2018 to July 2022, where responsibilities included supporting student transitions from middle to high school and implementing targeted interventions to promote academic and social-emotional success. Angela’s extensive background in education features roles in career counseling, academic tutoring, and youth mentorship, with a focus on equity in student achievement and college readiness. Angela holds a Master of Arts in Counseling and Career Development from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Child Development from California State University, Chico.
