Sarah Whitfield

Sarah Whitfield currently serves as the Public Information Officer for the Santa Rosa County Board of Commissioners, a position held since 2013, where responsibilities include disseminating information and creating communication products that support the county's initiatives. Sarah has also held the role of Interim Public Information Officer and Assistant Public Information Officer within the same organization. Additionally, Sarah has demonstrated leadership as the President of the Florida Public Relations Association Pensacola Chapter during two terms from 2018 to 2019 and 2022 to 2023. Previous experience includes administrative and support roles in various public sector offices, along with a background in digital media and graphic design gained through education at the University of West Florida. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from the University of West Florida and an Associate degree in General Studies from Pensacola State College.
