Miguel Balboa

Miguel Balboa is an experienced educator and entrepreneur with a focus on philosophy and critical thinking. As the founder of Thisisnotatextbook.com since August 2010, Miguel has developed a resource platform aimed at enhancing student performance. In addition to entrepreneurial efforts, Miguel serves as President of Pale Sands and holds academic positions at San Francisco State University and Santa Rosa Junior College, teaching subjects such as Philosophy of Art, Logic, and Critical Thinking. Previous experience includes a role as a Philosophy Instructor at Diablo Valley College, where Miguel taught various philosophy courses. Miguel earned an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, Davis, after completing an undergraduate education at San Francisco State University.
