Wendy Teeter is a Cultural Resources Archaeologist with extensive experience in archaeological research and cultural heritage preservation. Currently serving as a Cultural Resources Archaeologist for the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians since August 2021, Wendy also co-directs the Pimu Catalina Island Archaeology Project, which focuses on the preservation of Catalina Island's cultural history. Wendy held the position of Senior Curator of Archaeology at the Fowler Museum at UCLA until December 2022 and has contributed as a curator and research fellow at UCLA American Indian Studies from 2005 to 2022. Additionally, Wendy has served as a lecturer at California State University, Northridge, and was part of the Board of Trustees at Ocean Charter School from 2004 to 2015. Wendy earned a PhD in Anthropology, specializing in Archaeology, from UCLA.
