Steven Hetzer

Steven Hetzer serves as the Director of Operations at The Santaluz Club since January 2024, building on a robust background in hospitality management. Previously, Steven held various roles at Charlotte Country Club from November 2018 to November 2023, including Assistant Clubhouse Manager, where oversight of clubhouse operations and emphasis on exceptional member experiences were key responsibilities. Steven's earlier experience includes positions as Food and Beverage Supervisor and Banquet Supervisor, coupled with a brief tenure as Restaurant Supervisor at Augusta National Golf Club, where leadership of a large team delivered high-impact hospitality. Additionally, Steven contributed to the success of The Arnold Palmer Cup as On-Course Food and Beverage Manager at The Alotian Club and gained foundational club management skills through an externship at The Alotian Club. A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management, Steven is adept in food and beverage operations and team development.
