Charisse Ras

Charisse Ras is a seasoned risk management professional with extensive experience at Santam Insurance, where roles have included Chief Risk Officer, Deputy Chief Risk Officer, Head of Financial Risk Management, and Actuarial Manager from February 2012 to the present. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Manager at PwC from September 2008 to November 2011. Charisse holds a BSc(Hons) in Financial Engineering and a BSc in Financial and Actuarial Mathematics from the University of Pretoria, and is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa and a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in the United Kingdom.
